There are lots of people who enjoy cooking. I myself like fast food. Easy. Done Deal and quick. Clean, no need to wash dishes. No need to clean up. No need to smell the house.

@twat4556, so how do you keep your bowels moving smoothly and how do you get your fat that your brain needs?

It’s sounds very interesting, but I’m not a spanish talker and I can’t understand everything, only some parts of the conversation and explanation. I’m very interested in organic food (but with people who take it seriously). I’d need subttitles, in spanish (I’m from Basque Country, North East of spain), or if it is not possible, in english, please.

@InvisiMan2006 Im not sure what i think about all the nuts, but its definately better to use fruit instead of sugar.

@alicatr2 we do not need the curdled milk of another species. Please do not tell people we need it.

This looks Awesome! I’m pretty excited to make this! I’m avoiding dairy, gluten and refined sugars and I LOVE DESSERT! Thank you!!!! Another great use for local Washington Apples! ;)

This pie was so awesome. It’s better if it sets over night. We still need butter in our system too, please don’t forget that.

While this pie may not have a lot of the “bad” stuff we are use to, the dates and almonds put the sugar and fat WAY over the top. More fat than a regular pie and more sugar (yes, fruit sugar is still sugar) than soda pop. Still yummy though.

    im gonna make this… woohoo!!

I made this pie last week, and I can tell you, it is amazing! It tastes just as good (if not better) than conventional apple pie, and it leaves a clean feeling in my body. Luv it! <3

im all about eating healthy and i make most of the food i eat from scratch, but when did eggs and protien and “cooked” food become bad for you (when not eaten in excess). this whole raw thing is not good for humans….our digestive system can not process it efficiently. period.

ps…for those of you that dont know (which is most of you) a chicken will lay an egg ever 25.5 hours no matter what…..

    Yo what’s up Ani,
thanks for your consistent work and giving to the world. I appreciate you never gave up on your purpose, you are making a difference in peoples families, health, relationships, and tastebuds! I’m making this recipe in the morning for my cousins family, and I already know the reaction I’m gonna get. I’ve made this apple gold piece of art before… thanks for making it simple and environmentally freindly too. OH.. ! I also made your almond nori rolls. THE BEST! You’re beautiful.

  23. healthfreak18 says:

That looks amazing. :-) Yeah everytime I eat cooked processed pies (and desserts in general) I feel sick to my stomach and they don’t even taste good to me anymore but I know this will be good.

I made a variation of this for the first time today. It turned out great! The blended orange/date syrup is brilliant. The only thing I did different was to use a sunflower seed/raisin crust instead of the almonds (I didn’t have time for the soaking required). Also, I chopped the apples much smaller in the food processor instead of the larger slices shown. I also omitted the whole raisins due to so many in the crust. My parents and I love this pie!
