WOW all i see is a bunch of people praying. these turks kinda suck.even if they are praying for the HC bill to fall, good! it sucks its gonna kill a lot people! I think religon is stupid but getting your info from ms. maddow is dumb as fuck.death panels are in the BILL!!!!!!!!!!!!! stupid libs youll never learn.
I don’t even understand how right wing Christians think that health care reform is anti-Christian. How many times did Jesus mention helping the poor in the Bible? So this bill is giving more people affordable health insurance…how on Earth would Jesus oppose that? He never mentions anything to my knowledge about socialism, capitalism, free market, mercantilism, or anything pertaining to the economy. So what makes them think he’s on their side on this issue.
@Skindoggiedog Well a long time ago we started scaring each other over communits and satan….and somewhere along the way we brainwashed anyone who was born before the 50′s to think that we are a christian nation. Pretty much everyone in America don’t know shit about American History.

Why can’t God ever just say, “Here, grab a muffin and take care of yourself, help thy neighbor and just don’t make an ass of yourself.” THAT makes more sense than these clowns.
I find it odd that the religious right thinks that God and Jesus are on their side when:
Slavery is illegal (Southern churches condoned it in the 19th century
Anti-feminism is a strong point for fundamentalists (19th Amendment, Lily Ledbetter Act, Civil Rights Act of 1964…)
Abortion (Roe v. Wade)
Homosexuality (gay marriage is legal in five states)
Health Care reform (passed)
If Jesus is on your side, if this is God’s country, then why has he allowed all of these “sinful” things to pass here?
Matthew 25:34-40..these people should check those words from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ before they start praying for insurance, oil and banking companies. to paraphrase…Jesus said: surely as you have done for these the least of my brethren (poor, sick, imprisoned et al) you have done it for me. Maybe w e should be looking for what we can do to help those who reallly need it instead of being apologists for the United States of Money?
i think jesus would want people to be healthy and get health care even if there poor… i mean dont get me wrong jesus want people to work hard but i think jesus wants us to help people (theres like 10000 verses in the bible about it). the church doesnt seem to be doing engougf so natural the government has to do gods will if churches and non government orgs steped up and provied for the poor people then the government could slowing and smartly step out of the way. i wound be for that

TYT yet again assumes logic in the legal structures. An idiotic assumption. The health care reform title is just a pretty face for the bill which extends the IRS and forces purchasing a private corporations’ services. Funds microchip research and for implementing medical Identification which is again more control mechanisms.
